Youth Engagement Program

Since it began in 1994, our highly successful Youth Ticket Program has provided cultural and personal enrichment opportunities for self-identified LGBTQ youth and allies through thousands of donor-sponsored tickets. For many, it’s a life-changing and positive experience, and it’s an opportunity for us to tell them we love them just the way they are. In addition, thanks to generous donor underwriting, we provide motor coach transportation for youth organizations from outlying areas, so they can attend shows. The bus program provides access to as many as 70 participants per production.

New this year! To better facilitate our free ticket program, we are partnering with the experts at TeenTix to manage ticket requests. We are very happy to introduce teens to TeenTix, the nonprofit that provides low-cost ticket access to dozens of arts organizations in the Seattle area. We hope this shift in process will empower young people to take an active role in shaping their arts community as audience members, a core tenant of TeenTix’s mission. Not only can teens continue to gain free access to our concerts, they can enjoy arts across the city for just $5 per ticket.

To receive free tickets for SMC & SWC concerts:

  1. Sign up for TeenTix (ages 13-19)
  2. Look for ticket alerts from TeenTix through email and social media
  3. Reserve through the link provided
  4. Pick your ticket up at the will call desk at the performance venue on the day/night of the show
  5. Enjoy!
