empower (education + music = power)

empower brings Seattle Men’s Chorus into middle and high schools across the Pacific Northwest with an interactive, student-focused program that addresses the power of allyship through music, storytelling, and student engagement.

The program includes an assembly where Men’s Chorus performs music and engages the students with personal stories. Students engage with singers before and/or after the presentation in a casual environment. Select students then participate in a deeper dialogue about the assembly and the issues raised, the music sung and the impact made. Those student voices are the foundation of the media outreach – resulting in podcasts, videos and other media distribution.
