This year’s tradition returns with Holly Jolly Jingle, December 5-23.
SEATTLE – It’s time to ring in the seasonwith the Seattle Men’s Chorus at the Pacific Northwest’s most beloved holiday tradition.
With performances running December 5-23, Holly Jolly Jingle: Seattle Men’s Chorus Holiday Show will be serving up a jolly collection of seasonal classics, Christmas comedy, and Seattle’s gayest sing-along
The fun-filled concert — with performances in Tacoma, Everett, and Seattle — features songs including “A Holly Jolly Christmas,” “Silver Bells,” “Jingle Them Bells,” and a new holiday version of Chappell Roan’s “HOT TO GO.” This year, SMC will also premiere the NOTcracker Suite — a four-minute rendition of the holiday staple featuring hilarious lyrics, props, and antics you expect from the Seattle Men’s Chorus during the holliest, jolliest time of the year!
“Some recipes never fail — mix the Men’s Chorus with the holidays, and you’re guaranteed a joyful feast,” said Paul Caldwell, Seattle Men’s Chorus artistic director. “We still serve up the classics, our dancers bring the fire, which adds a little extra kick. Before you know it, you’ll see why Seattle Men’s Chorus is the hottest ticket in town.”
This year’s performances include an adapted show specifically for children to join in the delight of Holly Jolly Jingle. Shortened to one hour for little ones’ attention spans, this special performance will feature costumed performances, dance numbers, as well as the popular sing-along with general admission seating.
“Our holiday concert is a celebration of joy, inclusivity, and the vibrant spirit of the season, which breaks down stereotypes and binds us together in powerful ways,” said Craig Coogan, Seattle Men’s Chorus executive director. “It’s the most fun you’ll have this holiday.”
Tickets begin at $30 (with special pricing for the abbreviated Kids’ Show) and are available through the Seattle Men’s Chorus website at SeattleChoruses.org.
