SEATTLE, September 20, 2021 – Seattle Men’s & Women’s Choruses are returning to the stage. Like many arts organizations, the chorus’s operations came to a screeching halt last spring, when the pandemic closed the doors on public gatherings nationwide. After over a year of virtual performances and patrons eagerly awaiting the re-opening of venues, Seattle Choruses excitedly announces the details of our upcoming 2021-2022 concert season.
“It’s been far too long since we’ve had the pleasure of rehearsing and performing together as a chorus, and with you, our audience, to cheer us on,” stated Artistic Director, Paul Caldwell.
The Seattle Men’s Chorus will kick off the season merrier than ever at the annual holiday show, Snow Business. “This is a staple tradition for so many and we will really be bringing the cheer this year,” said Caldwell. Season subscription packages and Snow Business tickets will be available for purchase October 1 on our website.
The holiday show will be followed by a season to remember, and one that is inspired by social justice. The Seattle Women’s Chorus will perform the music of girl groups and sister acts in the February winter concert, We Are Family. In March join the Seattle Men’s Chorus once again as they take the stage for Motown and More, with music from some of the most successful artists of the 20th century. May closes out the Spring with Voices Rising, as the Seattle Women’s Chorus honor generations of Black female musical pioneers. Please visit our website for tickets, details on each performance, venues and show times.
