We caught up with a few Everything Broadway soloists to ask them some deeply meaningful questions, such as "if you were any item in a vending machine, what would you be?"

And, of course, we asked their favorite musical, since they're performing in The Definitive Guide to Show Tunes.

Scott Farrellscott farrell.jpg

Performing "Hello, Dolly!"

Favorite musical? My Fair Lady
(it was also the first musical I ever performed, playing Freddy at Bellevue High School in 1969!)
Who would play you in a movie?
Younger me: Neil Patrick Harris
What is something that no one in the Chorus knows about you? In 1975 I appeared in Amsterdam (and in the Village in NYC) naked onstage in a musical entitled Let My People Come. I sang a beautiful, very powerful for the time, duet with another man called “I’m Gay.”

Carlos Barajas

Performing "A Musical," from Something Rotten!

Favorite musical? Company
If you were any item in a vending machine, what would you be? The healthy snack that no one gets and probably isn't that good for you.
Which Broadway diva would you co-headline with? Hugh Jackman? Does that count? Ok fine, Sutton Foster.

Jeff Hujeff hu.jpg

Performing "Bring Him Home," from Les Misérables

Favorite Musical? Les Misérables
What is something that no one in the Chorus knows about you? I have terrible stage fright.
Which Broadway diva would you co-headline with? Bernadette Peters (Love her!!) & Hugh Jackman (Divo)

Samuel Ben Behar

Performing "If I Were a Rich Man," from Fiddler on the Roof

Favorite musical? Ragtime
If Donald Trump wins the general election and you flee the US, where will you go? I'd probably stay put. The likelihood of him getting any of his evil schemes done are virtually nil.
Who would play you in a movie? I'd like to be played by a chunky version of Channing Tatum, but in all likelihood, it'd probably be Jonah Hill.

Jack HilovskyJack Hilovsky.jpg

Performing "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life," from Spamalot

Favorite musical? Sunday in the Park with George
If you were any item in a vending machine, what would you be?
I'd be a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup; milk chocolate on the outside and peanut butter on the inside. It's my favorite candy bar so, of course, I'd eat myself :)
Which Broadway diva would you co-headline with? I'd pick Kristin Chenoweth. She's sweet, easygoing, super talented, and I'd love to sing "One Less Bell to Answer" with her!

Joel Kimmel-Staebler

Performing "Turn it Off," from The Book of Mormon

Favorite musical? Pippin
Who would play you in a movie? Nicholas Cage
If you were any item in a vending machine, what would you be? Peanut butter cups.

Performing "Not My Father's Son," from Kinky Boots

Favorite musical? Company
What is something that no one in the Chorus knows about you? My first GALA chorus was Desert Voices out of Tucson, AZ.
How many tattoos do you have? Did they hurt? I have 5 tattoos and 6 piercings. They did not hurt. I found them spiritually transformative.
